Daring to follow its own path, History Highway is the most unique television show to hit the airwaves in many years. Refusing to have a cookie cutter format, each episode will take you on a road trip adventure that will be a joyride back to yesteryear. Host, Rick Revel (Mister History), will take a cruise each week in a classic canary-yellow ‘55 Chevy, revealing the lesser known facts about American History. With a wide range of subject matter extending from prehistoric times to present day high tech, the appeal will reach a broad demographic. In “episode one” you will find out that the basic technology for the cell phone appeared first in 1892. You will also visit a present-day corn field that was once used to house and train 24,000 United States soldiers during World War II. 

This TV series is not just for hardcore history buffs, History Highway is for anyone who loves their country and is proud to be an American. Combining his diverse talents as an entertainer and his passion for history, host Rick Revel has created a new genre he fondly calls “edutainment”. Each week he will take you on a journey back in time that will not only entertain you, but it will also teach you about this incredible country you live in called America.
